Danbury Ice Cabaret Tryouts

The Danbury Ice Cabaret Ensemble (DICE) is a competitive Theatre on Ice team based in Danbury, and comprises skaters from Newtown and area towns.

The group will hold on-ice tryout sessions Wednesday October 12 and Wednesday October 19 from 5:50-6:50 pm at the Danbury Ice Arena. Skaters should have skating skills comparable to those needed for the United State Figure Skating Association pre-preliminary moves-in-the-field test, or, at a minimum, need to be able to skate forward and backward and know basic turns.

Theatre on Ice is a relatively new discipline of figure skating that blends the grace of figure skating with the excitement of theatre and dance.
