Vermont’s Premier Choral Ensemble

To Concertize At Trinity Episcopal Church

The Music at Trinity free community concert series will continue with choral music of diverse styles ranging from classical to folk, by Counterpoint, on Sunday, October 23.

Led by esteemed choral conductor Robert De Cormier, counterpoint is truly Vermont’s and perhaps New England’s premier vocal ensemble.

Mr De Cormier is director emeritus of the New York Choral Society and musical director for the folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary.

Mr De Cormier and Counterpoint have received numerous awards and recognition including Vermont House Resolution 213 which stated Counterpoint has “delighted and impressed audiences with the amazing diversity of its musical offerings and the highly professional quality of its performances.”

The concert will begin at 3 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church, 36 Main Street in Newtown. There will be a reception following the concert.

Free will donations (suggested Counterpoint donation, $15) will support the continuance of the Music at Trinity concert program.
