Program On Kids And Discipline

In response to the community’s request for a program about children a discipline, the Newtown Parent Connection will host “Dr Ray,” a clinical psychologist, radio personality, and father of ten on Tuesday, October 18, from 7 to 9 pm at Newtown High School.

The program is sponsored by the Newtown Savings Bank.

Dr Ray Guarendi comes with national acclaim to speak to the community through a program entitled, “Discipline That Lasts a Lifetime.” His humor and wit, coupled with vast experience and expertise in working with children and parents in a variety of clinical and nonclinical settings, makes for an entertaining and enlightening evening.

Dr Ray has been a frequent guest on such TV programs as Oprah, Joan Rivers Show, Scott Ross Primetime and CBS This Morning. He has his own nationally syndicated radio talk show called The Doctor Is In.

Dr Ray will offer suggestions, solutions, and practical tips on how to handle challenging occurrences in the daily lives of parents and caregivers in all developmental stages. His personal anecdotes are not only engaging, but humorous and often reflective the audience’s own experiences.
