Genealogy Club To Meet Oct. 12
The Genealogy Club of Newtown will meet on Wednesday, October 12, at 7 pm, in the C.H. Booth Library with a presentation on German genealogy by Robert Law.
Mr Law also teaches beginning genealogy and how to use the Internet to find European ancestors. He is well versed on Ellis Island immigration, and Irish genealogy. Those who have German ancestry in their background can feel free to tap into Mr Lawâs experience and expertise in these other areas.
Meetings of the Genealogy Club of Newtown are open to the public, and are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the C.H. Booth Library at 7 pm. Refreshments are provided.
Club members range from beginning to seasoned genealogists.
