The Gunnery announced that Katherine Danziger of Newtown was among nine of its students to earn designation as an AP Scholar by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college level Advanced Placement Program (AP) Exams in the May 2005 testing period. Katherine was one of two students at The Gunnery to qualify for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken.

Emily Notaro of Sandy Hook has been named to the honor roll with distinction for her academic work in the spring term at Westover School. Jennifer Agius of Newtown has been named to the honor roll for her academic achievement for the spring term at Westover School.

Elisabeth Mahoney of Newtown, daughter of Carol and Tom Mahoney, graduated magna cum laude from the Quinnipiac University of Law.
