To the Editor:

These are troubled times. Pandemic, fierce storms, floods, fires, economic hardship; they just aren’t going away. Troubled times call for new and different solutions. And guess what? Creative problem solving and innovative solutions are the superpowers of Michelle McCabe! And we can vote for her to be state senator for Connecticut’s 28th District.

Michelle doesn’t stop at pretty words and superficial approaches. She looks for the underlying issues, and then seeks ways to address them. As director of the Center for Food Equity and Economic Development, she hasn’t just made sure that people had enough to eat; she’s created jobs and helped people start businesses so they could support themselves, and she’s reduced the taxpayer burden by developing more efficient systems for food distribution.

Michelle can bring this same innovative approach to Connecticut’s economic and environmental woes. She is focused on helping our economy recover by making sure small businesses have the loans, infrastructure, and support they need, but she doesn’t stop there; she’s looking to the future. She wants to reform our outdated tax structure so individuals and businesses can thrive; make education a priority, so our kids can lead us forward; and invest in a green economy so Connecticut is a leader in the industry of the future. Michelle’s policies will help to address the environmental disasters we’re facing, as well as our precarious economy. For more information, go to https://www.michelleforct.com/.

In times like these, ordinary smooth-talking politicians won’t do. We need a superhero to stabilize Connecticut’s economy and protect its beauty. We need a creative thinker who has real solutions. We need Michelle McCabe to be our state senator.
