The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) will hold its annual Fall Show and Sale Friday through Sunday, October 17-19, at Newtown Meeting House. Show hours will be 10 am to 5 pm daily.

The public is invited to an artists’ reception planned for Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm. The exhibition and reception will be presented in the lower level of the meeting house, 31 Main Street.

The show will feature original works of art by members of SCAN, most of which will be available for purchase. There will be framed, ready to hang art of many mediums along with portfolios of unframed pieces.

Bob Doyle, a Danbury watercolor artist, is chairperson of the Fall Show and Sale.
