Waldorf Fall Fair Coming Oct. 14
The Housatonic Valley Waldorf School will host its 16th annual Waldorf Fall Fair on Saturday, October 14, from 11 am to 3 pm, rain or shine. It takes place on the HVWS campus at 40 Dodgingtown Road (Route 302) across from the Dodgingtown Firehouse.
The fair features a delicious natural foods lunch; sinfully rich as well as healthy homemade desserts and hot drinks at the Bittersweet Café; craft demonstrations and craft activities, including jump-rope making and silk dyeing; kidsâ games, including a hay jump; a puppet show; live music and sales of jewelry, goatsâ milk soaps, pottery, knitting, weaving, and felting. The fair mascot, Pocket Man, will be on hand as always, his many pockets filled with surprises.
Admission and parking are free. Strings of tickets may be purchased at the entrance to pay for food, a dip into one of Pocket Manâs pockets, and certain crafts and games. Payment to individual craft vendors is by check or cash.
