Shelton Church Pumpkin Patch

SHELTON — The First United Methodist Church of Shelton will have a Pumpkin Patch Sale from October 7 through October 31, open daily from noon until dark. There will be more than 1,000 pumpkins to choose from in all shapes, sizes, and price ranges.

Mini pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn and corn stalks are also available, and the grounds will be decorated with scarecrows and other festive fall displays.

On Saturdays and Sundays there will be face painting and pumpkin painting for the kids, and bake sales with lots of goodies.

On Sunday, October 29, at 1 pm, all are invited to join in a costume parade in the pumpkin patch.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the First United Methodist Church of Shelton and the Navajo Mission in New Mexico, where the pumpkins are grown.

The church is on the corner of Long Hill Avenue and Rocky Rest Road. For more information, call the church office at 203-929-3537, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
