Attention Teens
Â
Newtown Youth Services offers a program called the Job Bank. The idea is to pair up Newtown residents with a teen who is in search of employment. Typically the most needed jobs are for babysitting, lawn work or various odd jobs. Some positions are part time and others are on-going.
We are currently looking to fill jobs for the school year. So, if you are between 13 and 18 and are interested in earning money, please call the Job Bank Coordinator, Jessica Clark, at 270-4335. Applications may be picked up at the office between 8:30 and 4:30, or call the office and weâll mail you one.
Donât miss this great opportunity to lend a hand and earn some spending money, too.
Entertainment Books
Â
Once again, NYS makes these handy books available at $30 each. They make great gifts, featuring discounts for area restaurants, videos, movie tickets, dry cleaning, etc. Itâs a great way to support Newtown Youth Services. Please call 270-4335 to reserve your copy.
All programs will take place at Newtown Youth Services, 41-A Main Street (next to Town Hall), unless noted. For further information on any of the above programs, please call Newtown Youth Services at 270-4335.
