Robert W. Logan

Robert W. Logan, 76, of Fairfield, died October 5, in Cambridge Manor, Fairfield.

He was the father of Curt F. Logan of Newtown.

Born in Middleboro, Mass, Mr Logan lived in Fairfield for 46 years. He was a retired credit manager for Consumers Petroleum. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II and a 50-year member of the Bridgeport Lions Club, where he was recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award.

Survivors also include his wife, Egea Dolci Logan of Fairfield; another son, Robert S. Logan of Easton; two brothers, Ivan John Logan of Delmar, N.Y., and Harold Logan of Middleboro, Mass; five grandchildren, Robert, Kelly, Stephanie, Jillian, and Meghan Logan; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on October 7, in the Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, and in St Pius X Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in Lawncroft Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr Logan may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
