To the Editor,

Thank you for coming out and celebrating the 6th annual Newtown Hook & Ladder Firehouse Ride. The event was a huge success! Thank you Time Out Sports Bar & Grill for opening its doors! Thank you to our Platinum, Gold & Silver Sponsors: Smokey Mountain, The Gopher Guys, The Borough of Newtown, Law Offices of James O. Gaston, Claris Construction, & Newtown Savings Bank. We would also like to thank all the additional supporters and sponsors who helped us raise money towards our new firehouse. We appreciate the dedicated riders and passengers who continue to attend our ride, as well as our Emcee, John Voket, Monsignor Bob Weiss for his blessing, and the Mother Road for performing live music throughout the day. This years’ ride was dedicated in honor of life member Richard M. Liska, Sr. who provided us with over 50 years of service to the Newtown Hook & Ladder fire department.
