Rockies 15, Nationals 10: The Nationals jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Robert DiSibio singled in Jack Sullivan and scored on RBI ground out by Eric Casagrande. The Rockies took the lead 3-2 on RBI singles by Aaron and Luke Kirby. The Nationals tied the game on a Jacob Raiani RBI single. The Rockies took the lead 7-3 on an RBI singles by Luke Kirby and a two-run double off the bat of Thomas Coppinger. The Nationals tied the game at 7 with a single by Jack Sullivan and a double by Dillon Larkin. The seesaw battle continued when the Rockies took a 10-7 lead, only to see the National once again tie the score at 10. Robert DiSibio knocked in two runs with a double and stole home to tie the game at 10. The Rockies took the lead for good with a five-run rally in the bottom of the fourth inning. Singles by Andrew Via, Sammy Kapur and Ben Albee, along with doubles by Shea Talbot and Luke Kirby powered the Rockies to a perfect 5-0 record. The star player of game was catcher Thomas Coppinger, who held on to three strike- three foul tips ending a National rally on every catch.
White Sox 8, Orioles 4: The White Sox improved to 4-1 with a win over a tough Orioles team. The Orioles scored three in the top of the first, while the White Sox answered for five in the bottom of the first aided by hits from James Tibolla and Robbie Murray. The White Sox added two in the second inning to make it 7-3. The pitching of James Tibolla, Tyler Fuori, George Mohigel and Robert Murray held the Orioles to only one run after the first inning. Aided by solid defense from Robert Murray, Ryan Burns, Tyler Trede and Robbie Morrill who made his seventh putout in five games behind the plate.
Pirates 8, White Sox 6: The Pirates came to play, making productive outs in the first and third inning to build a 3-1 lead over the White Sox. In the bottom of the fourth the Pirates added five more runs with some perfectly placed hits that eluded the outstretched White Sox infielders. Pitching of Tess Davenport, James Shumacher and Tim Shaw combined to allow the high-scoring White Sox only a single run through the first five innings. The White Sox bats finally woke up in their final at bat. Singles by Tyler Trede and Robert Murray started it off. A single by Tyler Fuori plated two. Robbie Murrill, George Mohigel, and Patrick Oberstadt all singled scoring three more runs, but the rally came up just short with a runner at second and the tying run at the plate.
