Joan Ann     DeLucia Forte

Joan Ann DeLucia Forte, 78, of Newtown, and formerly of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Mario M. Forte, died September 30, in St Vincent’s Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, July 24, 1934, she was the daughter of Mary and Albert DeLucia.

Survivors include her loving sons, Michael Forte of Newtown and Robert Heid, and his wife Sue Ann, of Monroe; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Frank DeLucia, Leonard Topar, and his wife Deborah, all of Fairfield, Albert DeLucia and Joseph DeLucia, and his wife Louise, all of Trumbull; a sister Phyllis Homa, and her husband Mark, of Shelton; as well as several nieces and nephews. A brother, Michael Topar, predeceased her.

Ms Forte was formerly employed by Connecticut National Bank. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who dedicated herself to the love and care of her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services took place October 4. Interment was in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton.
