Police report that state bail enforcement agents brought Robert E. Coffey, 28, of Waterbury to the police station about 10 pm on October 3, where police held a warrant for his arrest.

Police said their warrant lists a charge of second-degree failure to appear in court against Coffey in connection with his not appearing in Danbury Superior Court on September 20.

In March, police charged Coffey with sixth-degree larceny and fraudulent use of an automatic teller machine, as a result of their investigation into a January complaint about a December 2011 incident. Coffey has pleaded not guilty to both those charges

Police said they held Coffey on $15,000 bail for an October 4 court appearance.
