Fall Festival At Plaza South

A Plaza South Fall Festival will be held Saturday October 20, from 3 to 7 pm.

Businesses that will be participating in this event are Union Savings Bank, The Learning Experience, Good Ideas, A Bead of Roses, Sweet Mango, Subway, The Little Gym, DOrazio Sisters Bakery, Brand Cigars, Z Place for Fitness, Cork N Barrel, Extreme Fitness, and Pub 25.

Attendees can start at Union Savings Bank where they will have their picture taken, receive a trick or treat bag, and pick up a raffle entry card. There will be several raffles awarded, including an iPod Shuffle. 

Families can trick or treat at all the shops, explore a fire truck and visit with a police officer, and enjoy live music by The Fine Print.

Newtown Animal Shelter will have pets available for adoptions, and The Little Gym will be collecting shoes for Soles4Souls. Free food samples will also be offered throughout the day.

At 5 pm there will be a costume contest with prizes given for Scariest, Funniest and Best Overall.

The merchants of Plaza South, 266 South Main Street, have created a fun-filled day, and they look forward to meeting families of all ages.
