Continuing Ed OSHA Construction Course

Newtown Continuing Education is scheduled to hold a ten-hour, four-night, Construction Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) course, starting October 16.

The course, according to Continuing Education, is intended to provide first-time certified construction workers or recertifying Connecticut construction workers the knowledge of rights and employer responsibilities as well as how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent related hazards on a construction site.

Course attendees must attend all of the four classes in order to receive an OSHA Card. The cost of the four-night course is $89.
