Kevin F. Fitzgerald, Jr received a master of arts degree in English from Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University, State University of New York.

Jennifer Kelkres, NHS Class of 1998 and a 2002 Smith College graduate, was awarded the George L. Hinman Doctoral Fellowship in Public Policy by the State University of New York at Binghamton. Jennifer, daughter of Gene and Eileen Kelkres of Newtown, has worked for the past five years as an account executive for Ogilvy & Mather, a major advertising firm, and Delahaye, an international marketing research company.

Lindsay Kelkres, NHS Class of 2002, received a bachelor of fine arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art in May. Lindsay, daughter of Gene and Eileen Kelkres of Newtown, majored in fashion design and minored in art history and multi-media design. She interned last year with Liz Claiborne, New York City. Lindsay’s first collection was presented in the MassArt Fashion Show 2007 at the Cyclorama in Boston. She has accepted a position as manager trainee with Landau, in Boston.

Adrienne Sgammato, a fourth-year PhD student in education, educational psychology, measurement and evaluation at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, was recently selected as a Spencer Foundation Fellow for the 2007-08 academic year. She will participate in the foundation’s education program, which seeks to improve educational research by promoting collaboration among researchers in different disciplinary departments across a university.

Adrienne will be paired with a UNC faculty member pursuing a joint research project. She is an aspiring psychometrician whose interests center on the educational policy implications of educational tests, namely high stakes testing. She hopes to work at a standardized testing company upon graduation from UNC. She received both her bachelor and master degrees from Springfield College in Massachusetts.
