Young Cellist Will Open New

 Concert Season

WASHINGTON — On Friday, October 15, at 8 pm, the Saint John’s Concert Series will present cellist Julie Albers as the first concert of the 1999-2000 concert season. Featured will be J.S. Bach’s Sonata No. 2 in D (BWV 1028), Sonata in D minor, Op. 40 by Dmitri Shostakovich, Sonata for Solo Cello, Op. 8 by Zoltan Kidaly, and Zigeunerweisen by Pablo de Sarasate.

Tickets are $15 per person and may be reserved by calling the parish office at 860/868-2527.

Saint John’s Church is located along Route 47 on the Washington Green.
