Llidio Machado – Santos

Llidio Machado-Santos, 86, of Trumbull, a retired laborer for the Silliman Construction Company of Bridgeport, died October 3 in his home.

He was the father of Patricia Dos Santos of Newtown.

Born in Vila Pouca, Portugal, he was a Trumbull resident for four years.

Additional survivors include his wife, Laura Santos; children, Maria Ferreria and husband Manuel of Trumbull, Leontina Dias and husband Ramior of Portugal, Amadeu Santos and wife Barbara of Trumbull, and Anthony Santos and wife Debbie of Trumbull; grandchildren, Domingos Ferreria, Antonio Ferreira, Lucy Ferreria, Ana Pemp, Diana Dias, Luis Santos, Lisa Santos, Linda Santos, Kimberly Santos, Gregroy Santos, Michael Dos Santos, David Dos Santos, and Ronald Palumbo; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held on October 5 in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, and in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
