DANBURY — The Wooster Community Art Center is exhibiting a collection of landscape and figure drawings and paintings by Marsha Doran through the end of October. On Friday, October 15, the art center will host an open public reception with Mrs Doran from 5 to 7 pm. Wooster Art Center is at 73 Miry Brook Road, near Danbury Square Mall; telephone 744-4825.

Quilt Show For

Survivors, Oct. 16

BRIDGEWATER — On Saturday, October 16, from 9 am to 5 pm, the Bridgewater Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship will host a quilt show featuring vendors, a luncheon and a quilt raffle.

Admission for the quilt show is $5 per person. All proceeds from the event will be used to support area female cancer survivors who need personal items as a result of treatment side effects.

Epiphany Roast Beef

Dinner, October 16

SOUTHBURY — Volunteers from Church of the Epiphany, 262 Main Street South, are ready for a roast beef dinner to be hosted by the church on Saturday, October 16, in the church’s parish hall. There will be seatings at 4 and 6 pm. Take-out dinners will also be available.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for senior citizens, and $5 for children age 12 and under. Reservations are requested by Wednesday, October 13; call 264-8150.
