 Trumpet Virtuoso Bucky Milam

In Free Concert

NEW MILFORD — Bucky Milam, a trumpet virtuoso who has played to audiences all over the world and has performed with such diverse artists as Tommy Dorsey and Henry Mancini as well as with the Chicago and Dallas Symphonies, will appear in concert with his own jazz ensemble at Temple Sholom on Saturday, October 16. The 7:30 pm concert will feature music of Irving Berlin as well as contemporary and traditional jazz.

Mr Milam and his combo returns by popular demand, having presented a command performance last season at the temple which raised the rafters. The program is open to members of the public of all faiths, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds.

Mr Milam, a native of Texas, began his musical career at age of 13 playing at nightclubs. By age 15 he was performing on the road in every state.
