Art & Frame Of Newtown Hosting Meeting House Artists
Art & Frame of Newtown’s new exhibition is presenting works by Meeting House Artists.
The show features work by 11 artists who meet weekly, in a collaborative setting, to create art in a variety of mediums (oil paints, acrylic paints, pastels, watercolors, mixed media), subjects, and sizes. The artists include Ed Arribas of Oxford, Randy Carboni of Bethel, Arline Corcoran of Danbury, Pamela Danneman of Newtown, Diane Dooley of Redding, Cindy Dunn of Newtown, Annie Eckman of Brookfield, Maureen Gianni of Danbury, Adele Moros of Bethel, Clarice Shirvell of Ridgefield, and Lisa Willvonseder-Greto of Sandy Hook.
The collection is on view until October 31.
In addition to being a custom frame shop, Art & Frame of Newtown is also a spacious art gallery that offers a relaxing and comfortable space to view art by local artists. Regular hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 am-6 pm. The gallery and frame shop is at 77 Main Street in Newtown.
A reception with the artists is planned for Saturday, October 26, from 4-6 pm. The public is invited to enjoy refreshments and conversations with the artists.
