To the Editor:

On November 7, our town has the opportunity to elect a great leader, Dan Rosenthal, as our next first selectman. Dan is dedicated, open-minded, and authentic. A person of the highest integrity, Dan has a unique ability to bring people together and find common ground. He is future-focused and business-minded. Appealing to all voters, Dan is exactly the kind of leader Newtown needs right now.

Dan's lifelong commitment to our town is well-known. Born and raised in Newtown, he chose Newtown as the community in which to raise and educate his three children. Throughout the years, his passion for our community has been evidenced by his leadership on varied boards and commissions. His efforts have reached a broad spectrum of our community's residents including, but not limited to our youth, homeowners, first responders, seniors, businessmen/women, families, etc.

We personally cannot think of a better person to guide, unite, and strengthen our town than Dan Rosenthal. On November 7, it is up to us to vote Dan into office as the next first selectman of Newtown. With Dan at the helm, we can move our town forward. All together.
