Robert Barresi
Robert "Bobby Hollywood" Barresi, 69, of Jupiter, Fla., formerly of Sandy Hook, died October 3. Mr Barresi was born on September 14, 1948, in Bridgeport.
He was a retired director from Sikorsky Aircraft, serving the company for more than 35 years. While with Sikorsky, Mr Barresi traveled the world and was instrumental in numerous projects, including Skunk Works, UH-60 Black Hawk, S-76, and the S-92 (CH-148). He was a friend to all and was considered "The Manager" among his friends and family.
Mr Barresi would often jump in on projects and help whomever he could. He had a vigor and lust about life that has not been replicated by many, according to his family. "Bobby Hollywood" will be sorely missed by all.
His three children and their spouses, Peter and Heather Barresi of Sandy Hook, Michael and Carrie-Ann Barresi of Jupiter, and Jacqueline (Barresi) O'Connor and Thomas III of Jeffersonville, Vt.; and grandchildren Ashlyn, Wyatt, Sarah-Kate, Jackson, Charlotte-Ann, and Kennedy survive him.
His father, Philip Barresi, and his mother, Jean (Grant) Barresi, predeceased him.
