NCC Women’s Fellowship Breakfast Oct 21

Six Newtown women from three churches will be featured at the Newtown Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship breakfast Saturday morning, October 21, at 8:30 am at My Place Restaurant.

The annual breakfast is sponsored by the Newtown Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship. The Oberammergau Passion Play, presented every 10 years in Germany, will be the topic of the speakers, each of whom viewed the play this year.

Speakers Grace Lewis of Christ the King Lutheran Church and Kathy Cunningham, Ilse Foster, Karen Gordon, and Marilyn Radaci of the Congregational Church traveled this August with a group led by Rev Steven Gordon, senior minister at the Congregational Church, and Rev Gregory Wisman of the Lutheran Church.

Barbara Gorham of the Walnut Hill Community Church in Bethel attended the Passion Play in September with her husband, Howard.
