Filling A Need For Small Businesses With Computer Problems
Newtown resident Paul Carpenter recently had his computer go down. He called
for help, but it was several hours before anyone could respond.
"I got tired of waiting for computer help so I decided to start a company that
would be responsive to a customer in need," he said.
Mr Carpenter recently started CE/Proactive/Technologies along with his
brother-in-law, Jamie Epranian.
"Jamie is a genius. He's been doing this stuff for 15 years for companies like
Intel and Proctor & Gamble. Fluor Daniel sent him to Chile, Argentina and then
to the Phillipines to straighten out problems," Mr Carpenter said.
Mr Carpenter, who is also CEO of Americam, Inc, the nation's largest supplier
of single-use cameras, said his new company will focus mainly on the tri-state
area.
CE/Proactive/Technologies, Inc is a provider of information technology
services specializing in system integration, development, support and
training. Its services include network configuration, system upgrades,
software development, Internet services and preventive maintenance. It can be
visited on the Web at www.ceproactive.com.
"I know that when somebody's computer is down, their business is down. It
happened to me. That's why our people get there quickly and with the right
expertise," Mr Carpenter said.
Currently located in Westchester County, New York, the company is expected to
move its facility to Newtown by spring.
CE/Proactive's emergency number is 800/632-2824.
