To the Editor:

I am writing to encourage all of our friends and neighbors to reelect Rebekah Harriman-Stites for Board of Education. She has been a consistent, active, and thoughtful voice on the Board and with the other Newtown government bodies. Importantly, she has demonstrated a passionate support for the mission and responsibilities of the role, taking a leadership position on the issues that matter most to our community.

This coming election is very important to Newtown — the elected leadership can and does have a real impact. I urge everyone to make their voices heard and vote on November 5, and of course, vote for Rebekah when you do.
