Virginia Gwydir
Virginia Margaret Gwydir, 91, of Newtown, died October 2, at Falmouth By The Sea in Maine. She was born May 31, 1927, in Monroe, a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Zelinski) Pulaski, and she graduated from Bassick High School in Bridgeport.
Over the years, she lived in Monroe, Trumbull, Bethel, and most recently in Maplewood at Newtown.
Mrs Gwydir was a member of St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Bethel. Her son, Joseph Dudics, Jr, and his wife, Lynn, of Porter, Maine; a sister, Margaret Pulaski; two grandchildren, Jesse and Jolyne; and two great-grandchildren survive her.
Both her husbands, Joseph Dudics, Sr, and Thomas Gwydir; and a sister, Shirley Luckner, predeceased her.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, October 26, at 11 am, directly at Stepney Village Cemetery, (Route 25) Main Street and Pepper Street, Stepney.
