Returning Favorites & New Artists Will Highlight NUMCâs Fall Fair
Newtown United Methodist Church will present its Annual Fall Fair on Saturday, October 18, from 10 am to 4 pm, at Reed Intermediate School.
Thirty-one professional crafters will be featured at this yearâs fair. Favorite artisans from previous years will be returning bringing uniquely hand crafted items such as fabulous jewelry, doll clothes that fit the popular American Girl Doll, beautifully designed pottery, holiday decorations, gorgeous floral, decorative folk art, unique hand crafted soaps and much more.
There will also be exciting new artisans with an array of beautiful items and art. One such artist is Carole Pleines who will bring her unique carved and hand painted lamps and shades, decoys and paintings to the fair.
Also new to the fair is artisan Daniel Riccio, who merged his skills in creating jewelry and sculpture to design his intricate miniatures cast in bronze and silver. Judith Rizzio will bring her beautifully made totes and bags created with designer fabrics.
The fair will also offer a silent auction, theme baskets, baked goods, and delicious luncheon items.
Reed School is at 3 Trades Lane, off Wasserman Way in Newtown. For additional information call the church office, 426-9998.
