Now’s The Time

To the Editor:

Please vote Yes at the referendum on October 7 at Newtown Middle School.

Newtown High School is overcrowded. The reality is, that even with no growth in the district, if the current population completes its education in Newtown, the high school will continue to be overcrowded through at least the 2014-2015 school year.  That is six years of overcrowding, and that could be a best case scenario for Newtown.

Now is the right time to expand the high school.  Please join us in voting Yes!
