SNAN Bake Sale October 11

The Spay and Neuter Association of Newtown (SNAN) will hold its third Columbus Day bake sale on Saturday, October 11, from 10 am to 2 pm, at Lexington Gardens. The sale will include a large variety of baked goods, plus homemade jellies and preserves, and homemade dog biscuits.

Proceeds will be used to provide reduced-cost spay and neuter services to those in need in Newtown and surrounding communities.

Donated baked goods may be dropped off at My Place restaurant the day before the bake sale or brought to Lexington Gardens between 9 and 10 am on the day of the sale. To help, or for more information, call Penney Meek at 426-1933 or Marion Thompson at 426-0253.

SNAN also is planning a Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 6, from 9 am to 2 pm in the lower meeting room and the old court room at Edmond Town Hall. It will include a tag sale, bake sale, books, raffle, craft and Christmas tables, Gilding the Lily table, a food court, and vendors.
