A Good Day For Cluster 6E

 To the Editor:

Many thanks to all the parents and students from 6E Cluster who helped us on the day of the car wash to benefit the victims of the World Trade Center.

The students wanted to volunteer their time and efforts so they could help the children of the victims from September 11 tragedy. Through their efforts and the generosity of the people in Newtown this Saturday, they raised $747.25.

A special thanks to all the parents who helped on this day: Mr and Mrs Clement, Mrs Florez, Mrs Fitzgerald, Mrs Andrews, Mr Knees, Mr Morgan, Mrs Fowler, Mr Tichon, Mrs Herring, Mr and Mrs O’Connor, Dan Geanuracos and other siblings and friends. We could not have washed so many cars without your hard work and time given on Saturday, September 22. Another special thanks to 6E Cluster member David Meyer and his mom for creating that beautiful quilt for the children of Newtown. All our hard work produced great dividends for such a worthy cause in such a time of loss.
