Open House At Legion Hall

The American Legion and its Auxiliary will hold an Open House at the VFW/American Legion Hall at 18 Tinkerfield Road from 9 am to 5 pm, on Saturday, October 14.

Residents are invited to come and see what the Legion is all about. In addition to displays and information, there will be demonstrations each hour throughout the day on such subjects as flag history (for grade school children), flag etiquette, flag folding – including what each fold means – and the flag disposal ceremony.

Refreshments will be served. There will be door prizes. There is no cost or obligation.
