HARTFORD-ÃÂ Governor Dannel P. MalloyÃÂ announced Monday, October 2, that - in accordance with a proclamation from President Donald Trump directing flags to be lowered to honor the victims of the mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada - US and state flags in Connecticut will fly at half-staff beginning immediately until sunset on Friday, October 6.
Accordingly, since no flag should fly higher than the US flag, all other flags - including state, municipal, corporate, or otherwise - should also be lowered during this same duration of time.
