Sponsored by Newtown Interfaith Clergy Association to support the healing of the entire community, the next monthly interfaith gathering for prayer is scheduled for Sunday, October 6.

This month’s gathering will take place at St John’s Episcopal Church, 5 Washington Avenue in Sandy Hook. The theme this weekend will be prayers for the harvest and for those who hunger. The event will begin at 4 pm.

Attendees are asked to consider bringing a non-perishable food items for FAITH Food Pantry.

Gathering have been hosted on the first Sunday of each month, rotating between locations, since early this year.
