Little Britches Fall Festival And Show

Little Britches Therapeutic Riding Program invites equestrian enthusiasts to attend the Fall Festival and Vendor Show at the Four Winds Farm, 225 Old Sherman Road in Woodbury on Sunday, October 18 from 11 am to 4 pm for a day of events celebrating the program and the accomplishments of its riders.

The event will include the following: Therapeutic Riding: demonstrations will show how therapeutic riding actually works; Dressage Freestyles: Little Britches Volunteers will ride to music; First Aid for Animals: Veterinarian Dr Stacey Dallas will demonstrate first aid for pets; Horse Massage and Stretching: demonstrations by Key Burns (as seen on Animal Planet); Barn Tour: learn about horses; Children’s Activities: fall arts and crafts, games, face painting, horse and farm themed activities organized by Nonnewaug High School Students. There will also be crafts, vendors, baked goods and food.

The festival includes music all day long. Root 6 will perform and the Nonnewaug High School bands will perform.

Admission: $10 per car. Handicap parking available. Ticket sales for children’s activities available at centrally located booths. Bring your own chairs and blankets.
