The Charter Revision Commission has long since disbanded, but the 11 members continue to meet on a regular basis to ensure that their proposed changes to the town charter are approved in November.

Last week, the group formed a political action committee: “The Committee to Vote ‘Yes’ for Charter Revision.”

“It gives us the ability to collect money toward various kinds of informational material. We plan to print some posters to spread around town. We’re hoping to have a general mailing to voters prior to Election Day,” explained Bill Sheluck, commission chairman.

The committee is now able to open a bank account, as well.
