To the Editor:

I am writing to provide my unwavering support and endorsement for Jennifer Padilla in her run for Board of Education.

As a parent, I have witnessed first hand her dedication to both our children and our staff. She has worked tirelessly in multiple positions on multiple PTA boards to ensure the school communities that she is a part of are inclusive, supportive, and, most importantly, fun places to learn and work. My child and countless others have benefited from her huge heart and boundless energy.

As a member of the Board of Education, I have been impressed by her willingness to jump in and lend her time and talent when needed. As a founding member of the Parent Educator Advisory Council (PEAC), she has provided valuable insight and has worked alongside district leaders and other parents to move forward important district goals.

In my six years on the Board of Education, I have worked with individuals from both political parties with different personalities, backgrounds, passions, and talents. I am proud of the work the board has done, in a bipartisan manner, always with the best interest of both students and staff in mind. I know that Jennifer Padilla is the perfect candidate to continue the positive work of our board, especially during one of the most challenging times for education.

Please join me in supporting Jennifer on November 2.
