*Tickets were made available last week for a PUDDLE OF MUDD November 14 show at The Webster in Hartford.
*Tickets were made available last week for a PUDDLE OF MUDD November 14 show at The Webster in Hartford.
I worded it that way on purpose because while there is most likely a processing charge for these tickets, they are essentially free otherwise. If you can get up to the theater in Hartford to pick up one of the 1,250 available tickets, you wonât pay anything, If you go through FYE or www.tickets.com, there is in fact a processing fee to deal with.
Dead Sarah and Lansdowne will be opening.
Also on sale are tickets for the recently announced JASON BONHAMâS LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE (8 pm, $35 in advance, $40 day of); and REEL BIG FISH-STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO co-headlining event on Sunday, November 27 (7:30 pm show, tickets $21 in advance, $23 day of).
*On the opposite end of the spectrum, tickets for the October 8 â3 Guitar Heroesâ concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse are no longer valid.
The full tour, which was to have featured MICHAEL SCHENKER, ULI JON ROTH and LESLIE WEST, has actually been postponed for the time being âdue to insurmountable travel issues,â according to a press release issued by the Playhouse on Monday.
If you havenât already heard, West, âwho has suffered from diabetes for decades, underwent emergency surgery this past June to amputate a portion of his leg. Still confined to a wheelchair post-op, there is no way to tour at this time despite a valiant search for a proper vehicle to accommodate Westâs needs. All ticket holders will be contacted by The Ridgefield Playhouse.â
If you have not yet heard from the playhouse and are holding on to tickets for that show, call the box office at 203-438-5795.
*If you had tickets and still want music on your schedule for that night, tickets are still available for JACKSON BROWNEâs show at The Palace Theater in Waterbury. Browne is on the road on a solo acoustic tour. Playing guitar and piano, he is performing songs spanning his entire body of work.
Tickets run from $51.50 to $76.50, and can be purchased by calling the box office at 203-346-2000, online at www.PalaceTheaterCT.org or in person at the box office, 100 East Main Street.
Also coming next month is THE CHARLIE DANIELS BAND, ON October 15 ($35-$55), and THE PIXIES, bringing their world tour to The Brass City on October 29 ($40.50-$50.50).

*Bob Brophy dropped me a note this week to share details about the music he has lined up and will be introducing during the 3rd Annual New Milford Harvest Festival next weekend.
The event will be Sunday, October 9, from noon to 5 pm, on the Village Green and Bank Street area of New Milford.
Live music will be performed by THE PEARS, THE RUST FARMERS, THE UNRELATED BROTHERS, DON LOWE & THE LOWEDOWNS, THE BLUE YODELS, RED DIRT ROAD, THE SEAN SHERIDAN TRIO, DOUG MAHARD, and AL BURGASSER, BILL PETKANAS & MISSY ALEXANDER. Two stages of live music will be emitting everything from dance, swing and classic rock to local singer-songwriters, New Orleans funk/R&B and jazz, according to Bob.
In addition to those performances, there will also be demonstrations by members of Fine Line Theatre Arts, Kathy Henkel Fitness and TheatreWorks Kids.
Until next week, Iâll be seeing you⦠on the road.
