Just A Slogan?

To the Editor:

I didn’t write when the school spent a million dollars on a field. When they needed new computers. No letter when they built a new school and put an addition on an old one when we have a decreasing school population.

But in times of a troubling economy, unemployment, foreclosures, you would think the school board would work with thoughts of the town.

The letters I’ve read tell me Newtown is in favor of the owner-operators and so am I.

Nicer in Newtown, or is that just a slogan?
