I’ve had owner-operators as my bus drivers ever since I started school. They were always nice and friendly. Almost everyone likes them. Now, people want to replace our owner-operators, bus drivers we’ve had since forever, with people we don’t know and have never met. But it’s not just the drivers we are losing. The drivers are losing their jobs.

We are lucky to have people who live in this town, pay taxes in this town, maybe have school children in this town. But people want to replace people that truly care about our town with people that probably don’t live in this town, pay taxes in this town, or have children in this town.

So please do what Jim Allyn says. Tie a yellow ribbon to your car mirror or antenna or your backpack. We can make a difference!!
