Coffee With IPN Candidates

The Independent Party of Newtown (IPN) candidates invite Newtown residents to “Coffee with IPN” on Saturday, October 1, at 11 am at demitassé café at 3 Glen Road in Sandy Hook.  This event signifies the formal kick off of the campaign.

The IPN website has also been updated and will continue to be enhanced as the election season moves forward.

Bill Furrier, the IPN candidate for first selectman, intends to attend the event after running in the Newtown Road Race.

“I am interested in meeting the voters and discussing the issues that are important to them,” said Mr Furrier.

“We recognize that people are leading a very busy life but we are interested in getting Newtowners excited about the November 8th election. We would like to buy a cup of coffee for the voters at demitasse and learn about what is most important to them,” said Po Murray, the IPN candidate for the Board of Selectman.
