Annual Blessing Of Animals Saturday At St Rose

The Annual  Blessing of Animals will be held Saturday, October 1, at  9 am, at the stable at St Rose of Lima on Church Hill Road. The annual event is a special ceremony in memory of St Francis, the patron saint of all animals.

All are invited to attend  with their beloved family pet. The service will start promptly at 9 and last about 15 minutes. Sisters Trish Keil and Helen Malyszka will provide soothing music and Father Luke and Father Ignacio will give each pet a special blessing. 

A prayer and blessing will also be said for all the homeless dogs.

Attendees are asked to be sure their dog is on a leash and all other pets are in carriers.
