Moving Violations
While on patrol about 3 pm September 23, police stopped motorist Michelle Fuoco, 34, of Beacon Falls on Route 25 for not having a front marker plate on the vehicle that she was driving.
After investigating, police charged Fuoco with failure to display a marker plate and with driving while under suspension.
Police released Fuoco from custody on $100 bail for an October 19 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Minivan Vs Sedan
A two-vehicle collision took place about 4 pm September 20 at the intersection of Queen Street and Mile Hill Road.
Southbound motorist Kevin Silber, 17, of 5 Crown View Drive, who was driving a 1994 Dodge Caravan minivan, stopped at a stop sign at the southern end of Queen Street in preparing to turn left onto eastbound Mile Hill Road, police report.
At that time, motorist Norman L. Dedrick, Jr, 43, of Trumbull, who was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu sedan eastward on Mile Hill Road, was preparing to turn left onto northbound Queen Street, police said.
As the Dodge pulled into the intersection to make the turn, it collided with the Chevrolet, according to police.
There were no injuries. Silber received a written warning for failure to obey a stop sign.
Narragansett Vandalism
On the night of September 23, a 15-year-old boy became involved in a verbal altercation with another person on Narragansett Trail in Sandy Hook, after which the boy damaged a residential mailbox, police report.
On investigating, police arrested the boy on charges of disorderly conduct for the dispute and third degree criminal mischief for vandalizing the mailbox.
After processing the boyâs arrest, police released him on a promise to appear October 3 in Danbury Juvenile Court. Police did not disclose the boyâs identity because he is under age 16.
Six Charges
Police said they stopped motorist Walter Inoa, 20, of Bridgeport for driving too fast on Interstate 84âs Exit 11 off-ramp about 5:38 pm September 25.
On investigating, police arrested Inoa on charges of traveling too fast, failure to wear a seatbelt, misuse of marker plates, driving without a license, driving without automotive insurance, and driving without a vehicle registration.
Police released Inoa on $100 bail for an October 10 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.

DUI Arrest
Police said they received a telephone call from a motorist reporting an erratic driver about 11:30 pm September 25.
Police said they went to the Mt Pleasant Road area to investigate and located motorist Lisa Richards, 41, of Trumbull, who was swerving in the roadâs travel lane, after which they stopped her and performed field sobriety tests.
Police said they charged Richards with driving under the influence and with failure to drive to the right. After posting $50 bail, police released Richards for an October 11 court appearance.
Waterbury Man
Police report that at about 8:50 pm on September 25, they spotted motorist Jason Mynahan, 21, of Waterbury, who was traveling eastward on Church Hill Road, drive through a red traffic signal at that roadâs intersection with Queen Street.
Police stopped Mynahan to investigate and charged him with disobeying a traffic signal and with driving while under suspension.
Police released Mynahan on $100 bail for an October 11 court appearance.
Dodge Into Pole
Motorist Joyce Webster, 76, of 6 High Rock Road, who was driving a 2003 Dodge Neon westward on Botsford Hill Road about 2 pm September 24, went off the westbound road shoulder and struck a utility pole near 20 Botsford Hill Road, police report.
Webster was not injured, police said. Police issued her a written warning for making a restricted turn.
Three-Vehicle Crash
Police report a three-vehicle accident at a South Main Street driveway about 9 am September 24.
Motorist Christopher Sadlier, 39, of 12 Little Brook Lane, who was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup truck northward on South Main Street, slowed to make a right turn into the driveway at 313 South Main Street, police report.
A northbound 2003 Ford van driven by Anthony Abate, 53, of Trumbull then struck the Dodge from behind, police said.
The Dodge then collided with a 1997 Pontiac minivan exiting that driveway, which was driven by Peter Blomberg, 53, of 34 Botsford Hill Road, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Abate an infraction ticket for following too closely.
Highway Crash
State police report that motorist Nakia Miller, 25, of Ansonia, who was driving a 1999 Hyundai Accent on westbound Interstate 84, near Exit 10, about 8:15 am September 23, slowed due to traffic conditions and was then struck from behind by trucker John Lefever, 60, of Auburn, N.Y., who was driving an International tractor-trailer truck. There were no injuries. State police said Lefever failed to maintain a safe distance.
Currituck Road
At about 11:30 am September 26, police stopped motorist John Niemiera, 41, of New Milford on Currituck Road to investigate.
Police said they charged Niemiera with driving an unregistered vehicle and with driving while under suspension. After processing the arrest, police released Niemiera on a written promise to appear October 4 in Danbury Superior Court.
Nissan Vs BMW
A two-car accident occurred at the intersection of Schoolhouse Hill Road and Main Street about 3 pm September 26.
Motorist Hariklia Blowes, 57, of Stamford, who was driving a 1993 Nissan Sentra westward on Schoolhouse Hill Road, stopped at a stop sign and was waiting to make a left turn onto southbound Main Street, police said.
At that time, motorist Joseph Cillizza, 69, of Southbury was driving a 2000 BMW 740-IL sedan northward on Main Street, police said.
As the Nissan attempted to make the turn, the vehicles collided.
There were no injuries. Police issued Blowes an infraction ticket for failure to grant the right of way at a stop sign.
Found Toy
On September 26, a Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP portable game device was found at the Fairfield Hills grounds. Police are holding the device, which includes a game, for safekeeping. The owner should contact police Sergeant Darlene Froehlich at 426-5841 to claim the unit.
DUI Arrest
Police said motorist Donald J. Brelling, 44, of Danbury drove through a red traffic signal at the intersection of Wasserman Way and the Exit 11 interchange of Interstate 84 about 8 pm September 27, so they stopped him to investigate.
Police arrested Brelling on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, interfering with police, and violating a traffic signal.
Police said the vehicle that Brelling was driving was reported to be stolen. That aspect of the case is being investigated by the US Department of Veterans Affairs, police said.
Police released Brelling on $70 bail for an October 11 court appearance.
Wasserman Way
Police report they stopped motorist Wilson Sanchez, 28, of Danbury for driving 53 miles per hour in a 30-mph zone on Wasserman Way at about 4:30 pm September 28.
Police charged Sanchez with traveling too fast and with driving with a suspended license. Sanchez was released on $100 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on October 18.
