It is with great confidence that I recommend Stephen Sedensky as Police Commissioner of Newtown. For over four years, I had the privilege of working with Stephen while he was the State's Attorney for the judicial district encompassing Newtown.

During that time, I witnessed firsthand his commitment to ensuring the safety of our community. Throughout his career, he worked closely with victims of crime from our community, fiercely advocating for their rights. Additionally, he worked with organizations in town such as Newtown Parent Connection.

As Police Commissioner, Stephen will bring with him invaluable knowledge and experience. He will continue to support the nonpartisan nature of the commission as he has done over the last year. He is deeply committed to our community and will work tirelessly to ensure that the job is done right.
