To the Editor:

Voters of Newtown, it has been an absolute privilege and pleasure to know Ben Ruben for the past 15 years. I have watched his personal and career development from a very close vantage point, which has been one of my most gratifying experiences. Ben is a highly energetic, passionate, and extremely focused individual who possesses a winning attitude in everything he does.

He places high importance on professionalism and making sure his words match his deeds. When Ben tells you something is going to happen, you can count on it!

I got to know Ben on a deeply personal level during the past fifteen years. Ben cares about the well-being of others and has deep family values that are exhibited every day towards his friends and family.

Ben has and will always go out of his way to help those in need without ever expecting anything in return. His love for life, friends and family will always take precedence over his own personal gratification. Ben is the son I never had who is respected, looked up to and admired.

Ben Ruben would be a tremendous asset to the Legislative Council District 3. I’m positive he would embrace the challenge and exceed the expectations time and time again. I am fortunate to have Ben in my life and will always treasure him and our relationship.
