I am writing to heartily endorse David Landau’s candidacy as an alternate for the Planning & Zoning Commission. Dave is a long-time friend and colleague; he and his wife, Jen, have lived and worked in town for many years and have raised their family here. Both of their sons (both recently married) have purchased their homes in Newtown, which will add yet another generation to the deep ties the Landaus have to the Newtown community.

Dave’s qualifications for the position are lengthy. After a successful career in the auto industry, Dave has built a successful real estate business built on market knowledge and outstanding service to his clients. In addition to his community pursuits (ex. Newtown Lion’s Club), Dave has invested much of his time in the real estate industry in such key roles as president of the Newtown Board of REALTORS, member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Association of REALTORS, and has taken on major committee assignments in both organizations.

Dave’s insight and experience, both as a long-time Newtown resident and business owner, and as full-time member of the real estate community, make him uniquely qualified to be on Planning and Zoning. I urge you to join me in supporting his candidacy.
