Thomas Paloian, Sr, 52, of Newtown died suddenly November 16. Born in Bridgeport to Joyce (Gionet) and John Paloian, he was raised in Newtown with his three brothers, John, Jr, Mark, and Richard "Archie."

He was a 1982 graduate of Abbott Tech High School and also a graduate of Naugatuck Valley Community College, with a degree in engineering. Mr Paloian was employed by Photronics in Brookfield for the past 20 years.

His lifelong love of 34 years, his wife, Suzanne (Gulya) Paloian; and three children, Thomas, Jr, and his wife Lisa, Tyler, and Emily Paloian, all of Newtown, survive Mr Paloian. He was always a coach and #1 fan to his three children. His greatest joy was being a grandfather to his grandchildren Mike and Leah.

Mr Paloian enjoyed watching his Celtics and Red Sox, with his dog.

A friend to all, Mr Paloian will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 22, at 10 am, in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Friends will be welcomed Friday, November 21, from 5 to 8 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
