A celebration of the life of Judith Marie (Michaud) Lipford will take place Saturday, October 3, from 2 to 6 pm, at the Aspetuck Village Clubhouse, 251 Aspetuck Trail, Shelton.

Ms Lipford, 75, died July 16 in Port St Lucie, Fla. She was born March 4, 1940, in Lewiston, Maine, and was a daughter of the late Loretta Marie Mandell and Chester Michaud.

Her brothers, Raymond Michaud, and wife Sandy, of Newtown, and Alan Michaud, and wife Bonnie, of Knoxville, Tenn.; her sister, Eileen Mandell of Branford; daughters, Sue Mincello of Shelton and Catherine Stock of Wilton Manors, Fla.; sons, Bob Stock, and wife Shelly, of Oxford, and Doug Stock, and wife Nadine, of Bethany; her grandsons, Chris Stock, and wife Ashleigh, Alex Stock, and Brandon Stock; one great-grandson; a nephew and three nieces; and several friends survive Ms Lipford. Her son, William J. Stock III, predeceased her.

Ms Lipford obtained her RN degree in nursing from the University of Bridgeport in 1985. She worked as a travel nurse in Hawaii and San Francisco, among other places, before moving to Florida in 1988, ultimately specializing in neonatal care.
